September / Mom (Mom)
Your anniversary of joining the Navy was September 16. You would have been in 8 years. It was also your grandmother Opal's birthday. It was hard to see you off on 9/16/1998 and it even harder that you are not here now. I miss you, along with all your friends and family. I love you.

Hey Tony, just stopping by to say hi.  / Will Morrill (Friend/Sailor)
Tony, i wish we could have gotten a chance to hang out more before we were forced to say goodbye. All i can think about is that night we were at Safaries and having a good time, and that being the last time i saw you. We all take for granted our next meetings, I wish i woulda gave you a hug instead of a hand-shake when you left that night. We all miss you and wish you were still here to laugh and smile again. Tasya, I am hoping your heart will heal in time and you can ease some of your pain. I know you loved him greatly and never got to hold his hand as your husband. For that I am sorry. His love of life, his woman and those days riding his bike will never change and that you know. He is missed and loved and the man standing beside him with his hand on his shoulder has shown him how true it is. We will all see you again brother and that smile will shine for us again. Miss you man......   Close

Thanks to everyone who has posted memories on this site. It means that Anthony meant a lot to you as well as me. I miss him so much, but it helps to read the good things that everyone else remembers and it makes me smile. He was a joy to know, and is smiling now.

Tony and I worked together at NAS Corpus Christi, he was a real good friend. I could remember having car problems and he would stay after work to help me get the thing running and would always make sure that I was safe. We had some good drinking time at the TGI Fridays in Corpus and Kareoke. We would often talk of what we were going to do when we left the military and it always consisted of some dream of making it big in the great state of  Texas. I recently went home to here the news of his untimely passing, I was deeply saddend and shocked. To Tasya, we are so sorry for your loss and we know that it wil be a long road back, but Donna and I are here for you. Take care and so long Tony.......... Close

I did not know Anthony very well, and for that I am truly sorry.  Tasya has been my friend for many years, but Anthony and I only met once.  I immediately liked him and Tasya was positively radiant, I had never seen her so happy.  I remember 2 years ago he called me on her cell phone to quick ly remind me (she had stepped away momentarily) that it was her birthday, which I forget every year due to the fact that it falls right in the middle of finals.  That is just the kind of guy he was, always looking out for the person that I love most in this world.  Thank you, Anthony.  We all miss you and look forward to seeing you again in another place. When I got to corpus, Tony inspired me to ride...I could never thank him enough for what he did. Tony was the greatest 1st officer a man could have and loved the job.  No matter what the problem was, he was more than willing to do what he could to help.  I will always remember him as the man i worked with, the greatest 1st officer ever, but most importantly, a wonderfull friend. Tony has blessed all of our lives in one way or another, now we must HONOR him like he deserves. I personally gave a 21 gun salute in his honor in my backyard.  He will NEVER be forgotten. I just hope one day to see and to ride with him again on the other side.             ..................Go with God brother.................... Close
